PROFILE
Every volunteer and organisation has the ability to create a personal profile page allowing you to share your experiences and interact with the community.
It allows you to upload and access:
Your information – about yourself and your interests. If there is a particular sector or country you are interested in, this is the place to show it. This will allow organisations to contact you if you have the skills they are looking for, and if you are looking for a volunteer buddy, you can share your details with the rest of the community.  If that sounds a bit too much for you don’t worry privacy settings will allow you to control any information you don’t want shared.
Alerts & Notifications - know when new projects are uploaded within your areas of interest.
Blogs, Forums and Events – Access to all your blogs and forum  discussions
Photos – create your own personal photo gallery
Messages – a private inbox to communicate with the entire community
My Projects – organisations will have all their projects easily accesible on their profile, and volunteers will be able to highlight projects they have worked with or want to work with

Our Quick Search allows users to search through thousands of projects according to a sector, country or continent of interest. If you want to narrow it down even further our advanced search.

PROJECT RATING
Volunteers can rate projects they have worked with according to various factor affecting their experience. This give valuable first-hand feedback will allow us to find the most promising projects and organisations and help those who are not performing so well to improve.

FIND A BUDDY
Aka: the piece de resistance of our site. If you want to volunteer but are anxious about the prospect of flying solo you can search for other volunteers with the same interests as you! What better way to meet new people!

BLOGS
Our blogging application allows users to create an online diary of their travels. You can create a contact list and email your updates to family and friends with just a push of a button.

FORUMS
The WWH forums allow volunteers and organisations to help and advise each other with any questions or issues that arise. Whether you don’t know what to pack, or don’t know how to say ‘No thank you, I don’t eat that’ in Chinese, the forums provide you with a platform to ask questions, and receive some answers.

EVENTS
Organisations and volunteers can promote events they are running or taking part in. Add that they can raise funds too.

CAUSES
WWH is a community of people who care. So we have created the ability for anyone to raise awareness about a cause that matters even if there are no immediate projects available or the organisation is not in a position to join our community yet.
