I took part in this project back in March 2013 and loved it. Leaders Lawrence and Pancy are so friendly, as well as all the locals in Phana. I found it a really good experience to get to see how local Thai people live in a small village. Everyone there is happy and excited to see 'falangs', you may also get to know the dogs in the area who like to follow you around :) You get to learn alot about Maqaque monkeys and see up front how they live wild in the local forrest, which is a lovely forrest by the way, with a buddah path running through it. Lots of photo opportunities here.
When I was there we also got to teach local children and adults some basic English, which I also really enjoyed...

This is a wonderful place , lots of monkeys and excellent hosts. The forest is magical with beautiful Bhuddah statues and hundreds of monkeys.
We are learning so much about the wildlife and conservation and teaching the happy children in the village school. I recommend this project to volunteers.
