Info on Maasai International Challenge Africa

Has anyone ever volunteered through the organizations Micatz? I am interested in joining them this summer but a few details leads me to suspicion. Any help?

It just seems a bit skeptical talking with the Executive director of Micatz named Edward Laiser. After giving me information, he presses me to send money almost right away. And it bothers me that I can't find much other information on Micatz accept from their website. There aren't any reviews or anyone I can find that has worked with Micatz before. If I could talk to some past volunteers who've worked with Micatz that would help a lot.

Hi Hannah, 

Thanks for your message. You might want to try and connect to Michael Mullane. He seems to have been in contcact with Micatz in December. I'm not sure if he ever volunteered, but he may have some further info he can share. You have done well by posting a forum discussion as well. This is the exact purpose of this so hopefully others will respond. You might also want to message the organisation and ask them to put you in contact with some volunteers that they have had in the past. I would hold off paying any money until you feel happy with the responses you have recieved. 

Also I am going to change the title of your forum topic to the organisations full name so that others are able to find it more easily through the search box.
