Worldwide Helpers 2nd 5K Fun Run

31st May 2009 Hyde Park, London

Our 2nd Fun Run was a terrific success and demonstrated just how far we have come since our launch on December 5th 2007. The final figure raised not only enables us to continue in operation and begin our site transformation into an online community for volunteers, but also allows us to bring forward the launch of our Grant Scheme. Updates on the scheme will be available on the site over the next few months.

Santa En Las Calles 2008

December the 13th 2008, London,

On December 13th 2008 Worldwide Helpers took part in an international movement called Santa En Las Calles (Santa on the Streets) which involved collecting up donated clothes, books and toys and delivering them to under privileged people all over London. The movement started in Venezuela in 2006 and has since spread to countries all over the world. We are very proud to be involved in such an amazing initiative and wish to thank everyone who participated in making this event such a success, bringing smiles to the faces of those in need.

FUNDRAISERS

Worldwide Helpers is running an ongoing fundraising event to help raise awareness and continue our work connecting volunteers to low cost projects all over the world. We will be selling bracelets all over the country at universities and various events and are looking for volunteers to help us with our cause. We will send you information on how to run the event, talk you through what you need to do and how to go about it. We will also send you WWH t-shirts to wear and of course the bracelets to sell.

Should you wish to discuss the bracelet event or any other fundraising ideas please feel free to contact us at info@worldwidehelpers.org with the subject: 'fundraising'.
