Working together the women can act as traders and run cooperatives to obtain cheaper foods and sell the food and crafts they produce. They will also benefit from workshops on skills such as nutrition and AIDS adapted feeding. The examples of other women groups, who have worked with REO in the past, who have successfully been trained and trained others in HIV and other health issues, and their successful income generating activities (IGAs) will act as models and peer-educators for these groups.
